I am up to the 'G's in the biscuit section of the Edmonds Classics Cookery Book. Gingernuts! The recipe says it makes 25. I made 14. Maybe if I made them more flat they would have been closer to the recipe count.
When making the batter, I thought the biscuit would be quite crumbly, but they were quite nice and buttery. I liked them. They were a good dunking cookie. The lads don't really like ginger, so I had to consume most of them.
